ClariVein
A mechanochemical technique that closes the diseased vein using a rotating tip plus a medication — improving leg health with better mobility.

What it is
ClariVein is an innovative, non-surgical treatment for venous insufficiency and varicose veins. It uses a mechanochemical technique — combining gentle mechanical agitation from a rotating catheter tip with a sclerosant medication — to close the diseased vein and redirect blood flow to healthier veins.
Because it does not rely on thermal energy, ClariVein significantly reduces the risk of nerve injury and bruising, and works well across a wide range of vein sizes and shapes. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia with minimal discomfort and a short recovery.
Frequently asked questions
Is ClariVein painful?
ClariVein is well tolerated. Local anaesthesia numbs the treatment area for a comfortable experience.
How long does a session take?
On average about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the severity of the condition and the number of veins treated.
What is the recovery time?
Recovery is quick — most patients return to regular activities within a day or two, avoiding only vigorous exercise for a short period.
Is it effective for varicose veins?
Yes. ClariVein has high success rates for venous insufficiency and varicose veins, easing pain, swelling and discomfort while improving appearance.
Are the results long-lasting?
Yes. Results are generally durable, though new veins can develop over time, so periodic monitoring is advised.
